The Dubai Metro at 818 MPH

The Dubai Metro was officially opened at 09:09:09 on the 9th of September 2009, by His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Custom Built Lego Felt Tip Pen Printer

YouTube user “horseattack” created a custom made Lego printer that uses felt tip pens instead of ink cartridges. He designed/built/coded it all from scratch including analog motor electronics, sensors and the printer driver.

Quadrotor Stuntcopter

The University of Pennsylvania General Robotics, Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Lab demonstrates a quadrotor helicopter performing “precise aggressive maneuvers”. The helicopter is a small autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that can flip, fly through windows, and perch. Batman will definitely want one of these for his next movie. (via)
