The Monkees – Goin’ Down
If you remember The Monkees as the made-for-TV pop quartet of the 60s, this song may surprise you. It’s from the B-side of Daydream Believer. Micky Dolenz delivers amazing vocals. According to band member Peter Tork, the song is based on Mose Allison’s much-covered version of Parchman Farm.
Bonus: Parchman Farm by John Mayall
